Dubai event venue picks Meyer sound system

Dubai, March 2, 2010

The Palladium, a recently launched event venue located in Dubai Media City, has invested in the very latest in Meyer sound technology.

Meyer's signature top-of-the-range Micra speaker system is designed to provide the ultimate in sound reproduction and reinforcement as well as saving technicians valuable time staging events.

Raymond Gaspar, general manager of The Palladium said, “This system is versatile and highly adaptable. It covers our entire auditorium, preserving sightlines, whilst giving us a clean and crisp coverage.”

“The benefits of using an in-house system are that it saves technicians time, as it is already installed and it is not only perfectly tuned to our auditorium, our engineers are completely familiar with the system and its capabilities,” he added.

Built at a cost of over Dh250 million ($68 million), the multi-purpose auditorium is equipped with a retractable seating system which can accommodate a conference for up to 3,000 delegates, host a banquet for 1,200 guests or provide standing room for nearly 5,500 revelers at a concert. It opened in late April 2009.-TradeArabia News Service
