200 to take part in Dubai horse fair

More than 200 exhibitors from 30 countries will participate in the upcoming sixth annual Dubai International Horse Fair.

Running alongside the $4 million Arabian Horse Championships, the Dubai International Horse Fair will showcase the latest developments in the equine world when it opens from March 18 to 20 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (Dicec).

“Dubai has a deep tradition in the equine industry and current developments are only going to improve the emirates reputation further,” said Abdulla Qassem, board member - higher organising committee of Dubai International Horse Fair and Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship.

“The Dubai International Horse Fair brings together the very best companies from around the world, who recognise the vast opportunities available in this region.”

“Dubai International Horse Fair provides us unrivalled access to the lucrative GCC market,” said Michael Reay, Middle East director, Equine Products UK.

“The Middle East is now seen as a key investment area for many international companies as the countries are developing at an immense pace to rival the US, UK and Australia.”
