OBG-SICO partner for Bahrain business guide

Manama, December 14, 2009

Oxford Business Group (OBG) has joined forces with Securities and Investment Company (SICO) to publish its latest business guide, The Report: The Bahrain 2010.

The partnership, which marks five years of successful collaboration, will see SICO provide OBG's editorial and research team with unparalleled intelligence on capital markets in the context of Bahrain's broader economic landscape.

OBG's country director in Bahrain, Suzanne Claiden, said that SICO's expertise in the field of finance would undoubtedly enhance OBG's economic analysis of the kingdom.

'SICO has long enjoyed a solid reputation as a leading securities house offering not only a range of investment banking services but also a highly-regarded research facility,' she said.

'I am confident that our joint efforts will result in a report that reaffirms OBG's position as an unrivalled provider of accurate, credible economic data.'

'OBG's new report will prove invaluable to the international business community by documenting the ongoing investment potential that the kingdom's diversification programme signals,' she said.

'Our decision to work with OBG on its business reports regularly in recent years is an indication of our commitment to raising Bahrain's profile among potential investors,' said SICO chief executive officer Anthony C Malis.

'I am confident that by collaborating with OBG, which is recognised as the premier intelligence provider on emerging markets around the world, the international business community will be given a first-class view of the exciting investment opportunities available in Bahrain.'-TradeArabia News Service
