Dubai, December 10, 2009
Domotex Middle East, a top trade fair for carpets and floor coverings, will target floor covering requirements of new office projects in Dubai, which are likely to deliver up to 34.6 million sq ft of office space in the next three years.
Domotex Middle East will showcase a bigger and better range of products and services during its exhibition at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre taking place from May 10 to 12, 2010.
The range of products to be exhibited include hand-made and machine-made carpets; textile and resilient floor coverings; parquet and other wood floors; laminates; floors for sports arenas and sports facilities; fibres, yarns and textiles; application and floor laying techniques and equipment; machinery and technology; ceramic tiles, natural stone floors and marble floors.
"Dubai remains a very vibrant market for the carpet and floor covering industry because of the relatively high number of premium office development projects being built in the emirate,” said Angela Schaschen, managing director, Deutsche Messe Dubai Branch, the organisers of Domotex.
“These projects create exciting possibilities for suppliers and distributors to offer a wide range of innovative flooring solutions that match the diverse requirements of developers and building owners,” she added.
“Domotex Middle East will help expand Dubai's market potential by providing a conductive networking platform where both sellers and buyers can meet, explore and discuss various business opportunities,” Schaschen elaborated.
The major target groups of Domotex Middle East are wholesalers and retailers in the carpet and floor coverings sector, decision-makers from construction companies as well as architects, interior designers, project planners, floor layers and fitters. – TradeArabia News Service
