MediaCom International, a leading karaoke sing-along innovator, will launch its latest product called MediaCom SD Porto, a portable karaoke multimedia player, at the Gitex Shopper expo in Dubai.

Gitex Shopper, a consumer electronics exhibition, opens today (October 17) at the Airport Expo Dubai, and will run until October 24.

The MediaCom SD Porto is less than 1 kg and is similar in size to an Internet router. The SD card has over 13,000 songs covering English, Filipino, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Malayalam and other South Asian languages.

“Buyers have the option to add an internal hard disk so that they can save and play multimedia files like movies, MP3, digital images, as well as use it as a PC back-up,” said Rene Pascual, managing director and chief technology officer of MediaCom International.

Pascual added that the SD Porto can also be used inside the car through an LCD screen and FM transmitter using the existing car audio system.

“Use it inside the car as karaoke, as MP3 player and also play movies to enjoy your trip,” he said.

The MediaCom SD Porto will be available at the Jumbo and Emax booths which will also promote the MCI-3300 DVD karaoke player, wireless mics, and home theater system, said a statement. – TradeArabia News Service
