V&B launches new tableware range
Dubai, October 10, 2009
Germany-based Villeroy & Boch (V&B), a leading manufacturer of ceramics, from fine china to bathrooms and tiles, has introduced a new tableware range with emphasis on emotions.
Reduced shapes and simple designs are even offered increasingly in the "Country" lifestyle segment offered by V&B, which is inspired by the harmony present in Nature and country life. The company is also extremely successful in this "Modern Country" segment with its "Urban Nature" and "New Cottage" tableware series.
With its "Flower Dream" series, V&B is presenting a new, emotional tableware pattern which places special emphasis on romanticism and nostalgia. In so doing, "Flower Dream" takes up the great tradition of nature themes and at the same time completes the spectrum of colours in the traditional "Country" segment.
While "French Garden" presents the colours yellow and green, and "Cottage" is characterised by shades of red and blue, "Flower Dream" is positioned in the green and blue colour spectrum.
"Flower Dream" is rendered on high-quality fine china on the successful Louis XIV form. This new pattern has a subtle rustic touch and acquires its cheerful appearance from the use of fresh, light colours.
The main line's central motif is a tulip bloom, designed with an extremely natural appearance, lots of detail and small coloured features, which lend the flowers a particular depth, while latticework is the pattern displayed on the plate rim.
In addition, there is a choice of two secondary lines for dinner plates, soup, breakfast and bread plates. These are either a plain-coloured background with a brush-stroke look or yellow tulips and blue primula presented as scatter motifs. – TradeArabia News Service
