Al Ain Mineral Water Company, the fully owned entity of Abu Dhabi-based Agthia Group, has signed an agreement to become the official water partner of the UAE Football Association until 2012.

The deal was signed between Yusuf Abdullah, general secretary of the UAE Football Association (UAE FA) and Fasahat Beg, general manager, Al Ain Mineral Water Company.

This partnership follows the company's successful and continued participation as a Gold Sponsor of the Al Ain Aerobatics Show.

“In the years to come, major competitions are underway and Al Ain Mineral Water Company will play an important role in the success of our National Teams,” stated Mohammad Khalfan Al Rumaithi, president of the UAE FA.

“We look forward to an exciting season as Team UAE competes for international championships,” added Rashed Mubarak Al Hajeri, chairman, Agthia Group.

“Al Ain Mineral Water Company will look at encouraging soccer from the UAE grassroots level through its support of the UAE teams ranging from its under-12 to full national teams. We look forward to being a part of all activities across the UAE FA,” said Fasahat Beg, general manager, Al Ain Mineral Water Company.

This sponsorship also provides Al Ain Mineral Water Company with intellectual property rights, and the company will have the right to present a special award in the UAE FA official competitions each year.-TradeArabia News Service
