DMI honours 'certified trainer' employees

Dubai, April 21, 2009

Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI), one of the pioneering media organisations in the Middle East, has honoured 23 employees who underwent the 'Train the Trainer' course to qualify as certified trainers.

The ‘Train the Trainer’ programme allowed participants to enhance their professionals skills in production, presentation and direction, in addition to acquiring learning in niche technical and administrative aspects.

DMI announced that it will work towards expanding the scope of the courses in its next phase to include the rest of the employees and staff working in varied media, technical, and administrative specialties.

'We believe that DMI’s strength lies within its media team, which requires a continuous process of training and development to ensure and maintain a pioneering status in the region,' said Najla Al Awadhi, deputy chief executive of DMI.

'Through equipping our staff with best-in-class skills, we are empowering them to cultivate the same capabilities among their team members that will eventually contribute to raising the overall quality of DMI’s offerings and set new benchmarks in the broadcast media sector.'-TradeArabia News Service
