Bridal expo introduces Men’s Lounge
Dubai, March 27, 2009
Grooms to be and fathers, uncles and brothers of the bride will be able to keep themselves entertained at The Bride Show Dubai this year, with a dedicated Men’s Lounge area set up, helping to create something for all the family.
This year, organisers IIR Middle East have introduced the Men’s Lounge, comfortably furnished and stocked with Nintendo Wiis and an array of entertainment options.
It’s a haven for fiances and fathers who need a well-deserved break from shopping and instead, can work on their golf swing, tennis prowess or boxing technique from the selection of Wii video games.
Although 'The Bride Show Dubai' provides a one-stop-shop for brides planning their big day, weddings are moments of joy that the entire family celebrates, from groom to grandfather.
The four day bridal extravaganza is a great destination for extended family members, men and women alike, to be an integral part of the planning process and contribute to the first day together in a couple’s married life.
For men who prefer to take a backseat every now and then, The Bride Show Dubai is ready to step in and provide some quality ‘guy time’.
“Grooms and brides-to-be alike will find many products and services of interest, and our dedicated Men’s Lounge will provide an entertaining respite, just as our Inspiration Zone and fashion shows offer a break from shopping for our female visitors, Daphne Cota, exhibition manager for The Bride Show, said.
But men aren’t the only family members to have a dedicated area and great entertainment options at The Bride Show Dubai, she pointed out.
'Though children under 14 are not permitted to enter the exhibition, they will have their own play area onsite. The Children’s Crèche will feature a variety of activities for young children and be supervised by Peekaboo, a professional childcare company, ensuring their happiness and safety while their parents browse,' she noted.
'The crèche is another way we can help visitors get the most out of the event and we are expecting it to be a very busy feature of the show,” Cota said.
“The Bride Show Dubai always receives an enthusiastic response from women in the Emirates, and we are increasingly seeing more men attend too. This year we’re acknowledging the importance of family in wedding preparations and celebrations,” she added.-TradeArabia News Service
