Sadolin features mix ‘n’ match emulsions

Muscat, March 26, 2009

Sadolin Paints Oman demonstrated the abilities of the different finishes and emulsions to be mixed and matched with one another in creating one’s own unique living space at the recent Interiors and Buildex 2009 exhibition.

Sadolin featured more than 25 different paint technique samples, which was a huge draw at the exhibition, according to a statement.

Interiors and Buildex 2009, an international exhibition featuring building materials, construction supplies, heavy equipment and interior furnishings, ran from March 15 to 17 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Muscat.

The Sadolin stall was testimony to what the company has always stood for – ‘Adding life to colours’, and was a thorough amalgamation of art and colour in its finest form, the statement further said.

Sadolin displayed various shades and finishes from its decorative coatings range - ‘Flair water based effect finishes’, ‘Armour water based gloss emulsions’ and the ‘ 36 White Collection’.

“Been spoken about widely for its quality, innovation and brand awareness, Sadolin is also known today for its interesting kaleidoscope of environment friendly, low odour water based colour combinations,” said N Balachandran, deputy general manager of Sadolin.

“Interiors & Buildex 2009 was an excellent opportunity for us to showcase our innovative range of products directly to our target audience. We are glad to be a part of this major international trade extravaganza, for two years in a row,” he added.

“Interiors & Buildex has grown over the years to become the biggest and most comprehensive event for the vibrant building and construction industry in Oman. The show was busier than in previous years with a large number of end consumer’s and industry professionals visiting our stall.”

He explained that Sadolin has a modern manufacturing plant with 20 million litres capacity for paints and adhesives, the largest network of colour point dealers (computerised tinting outlets) in Oman and a subsidiary manufacturing unit in Kochi in India.

The paint coatings manufacturer also has a wide network of sales offices outside Muscat at Sohar, Nizwa, Bahrain, Qatar and Dubai and distributors in Kuwait and Yemen.

Sadolin manufactures the entire range of decorative coatings and furniture lacquers under a technical licensing agreement with Azko Nobel.

“Sadolin Paints is certified for ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001. All our emulsions are truly low odour and meet EU norms for internal coatings,” said Balachandran. – TradeArabia News Service
