MBRE unit, EIA to update ID database

Dubai, March 17, 2009

A leading business house has teamed up with the Emirates Identity Authority (EIA) to regularise the UAE’s national identity cards data with the EIA’s database.

On Time Document Services, a unit of Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for young business leaders (MBRE) will be working with the EIA to ensure that the data filled out by the UAE’s population for the national identity Cards is input onto the EIA’s database.

On Time, considered to be an outstanding national establishment, will play an essential role in the provision of technological services and will be the sole agent responsible for inputting the population’s data onto the EIA databases.

The data entry for each identity application will take approximately three to five minutes. Each document will have a unique barcode that will scan the entire contents of the document and transfer it directly to the EIA database.

“All of our members have achieved remarkable results, excelled in their business and made significant contributions to our society, particularly in the field of information technology,” said Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO of MBRE.

“On Time has shown remarkable growth in a relatively short period of time. It is the company’s dedication and outstanding commitment to excellence that has allowed it to enter into government establishments and authorities such as the EIA,” he added.

Darwish Al Zarouni, director general of EIA, said: "On Time Document Services has offered many significant technological solutions that have had a positive impact in the implementation and development of the registration process.”

“The UAE youth have proven their competence in all areas and the best example is the efforts of On Time managing and conducting its business. On Time has played an important role in the field of data entry for UAE nationals and residents.”

“The speed and accuracy of On Time with regards to data entry has saved the Emirates Identity Authority a great deal of time and effort,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
