Rational demonstrates new cooking centre

Dubai , March 17, 2009

Rational, a technology leader in hot food preparation, unveiled its “SelfCooking Cenre” at the recent Gulfood 2009 in Dubai.

The 13th edition of Gulfood, which represented key sectors within the food and hospitality trade, ran from February 23 to 26 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The “SelfCooking Center” can be used to prepare practically all types of food, with top quality and minimal effort for kitchen staff, said a statement.

“The ongoing, professionally-run live cooking shows during the trade fair drew interested parties to our stand in droves,” said Hannes Braun, chief representative of the Rational office in Dubai.

“These cooking shows allow Rational at trade fairs around the world to provide an impressive demonstration of how our SelfCooking Center,” he added.

Braun continued: “Rational International Middle East performed professionally throughout the Gulfood event, and more than met its targets.

“We were delighted to see that our stand in particular was visited by a constant stream of clients from the industry with lots of potential. Decision-makers such as finance managers, directors, owners and chain customers from the entire near and Middle East region all opted to visit Gulfood in person.

“And best of all is that a huge percentage of these interested parties also signed up for one of our team cooking live events. These seminars take place every Monday at the International Centre for Culinary Arts in Dubai and every second Wednesday at the European International College in Abu Dhabi.”

“There we will be able to go into greater detail about the individual questions and kitchen challenges of the participants. They will be able to try the SelfCooking Center hands-on and see for themselves the important benefits that our product has for their daily food production,” he concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
