Renowned Indian Ghazal singer, Pankaj Udhas, is all set to perform in a mesmerizing concert on the concluding day of Dubai Shopping Festival on February 15 at the Crystal Ballroom in Hyatt Regency.

Responsible for changing the world of ghazals, Pankaj Udhas received the Padma Shri award last year, a Government of India civilian award for his outstanding contribution to Indian music.

He released his first album ‘Aahat’ in 1980 and has, since then, released 39 albums, the last being ‘In Search of Meer’.

A legend in his own right, Udhas is famous for his lyrics and a soft tone. His most famous rendition is probably ‘Chitty aayi hain’ which propelled him to instant fame.

The singer also has a string of successful albums to his credit and has performed in concerts around the world, singing his movie hits along with the ghazals.

Pankaj Udhas has produced over 41 albums and accumulated a fan base in every corner of the globe.

To commemorate his 25 glorious years in music, the singer performed in 25 cities in India and 110 cities around the world in a single tour.
