QFC launches new global ad campaign
Doha, January 18, 2009
The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority has announced the launch of a new integrated advertising campaign for television, print media and the internet.
The new campaign, which is already running on Bloomberg tv and will shortly be airing on CNBC, CNN, BBC World News and Al Jazeera, is the third international advertising campaign developed by the QFC since it was opened in 2005.
The new campaign introduces the tag line of Business Energy. It captures the energetic approach that the country has taken to its development, and the rapid growth in the economy and the physical scale of the country’s infrastructure.
It also underlines the role that the QFC is playing in the development of Qatar’s economy.
The first two print deliverables in the new campaign are being used in a burst of advertising in the Qatari media on Sunday.
The internet-based campaign, also reflecting the overall theme and depicting shots from the tv advertisement, will launch shortly.
The first advertising campaign launched by the QFC Authority was in May 2006, using the tag line “Ready for Business”. The second, “At the Heart of Business”, was launched in September 2007.
Steve Martin, director of Marketing and Corporate Communications for the QFC Authority, said: "Our global research shows that the QFC has now achieved a significant profile and reputation in the major financial markets of the world, which has been supported our first two very effective advertising campaigns."
"Business Energy is the logical next step and really underlines the pace of development that firms seeking new opportunities can now find in Qatar’s financial sector," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
