Taasees starts operations at Dubai Industrial City

Tatweer Dubai, a member of Dubai Holding, has announced that ‘Taasees’, an integrated one-stop centre offering the services of 10 UAE government departments, has commenced operations from its premises at the Dubai Industrial City headquarters.
As the largest of its kind facility in the UAE, ’Taasees’ features 14 counters to provide optimum ease of service to business partners operating in and around Dubai, as well as to the general public wishing to seek its comprehensive benefits.
Taasees meaning ‘establishment’ offers a range of services from the Ministry of Labour, the Dubai Naturalization Residency Department (DNRD), the Civil Defence, Dewa, the Department of Economic Development (DED, Dubai Police, the DCCI and the Dubai Customs, Dubai Municipality (DM), The Road and Transport Authority (RTA).
Khaled Al Malik, chief executive officer of Tatweer Dubai, inaugurated the centre in the presence of Rashed Al Ansari, vice president, Dubai Industrial City, along with Brigadier Rashed Al Matrooshi, director general of Dubai Civil Defence Department and Humaid Rashed bin Deemas, undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Labour.
Colonel Abdul Jalil Al Asmawi, deputy head of Department of Preventive Security from Dubai Police; Lt. Colonel Khalifa bin Qawba, deputy director for External Centre Affairs at the Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department; Abdullah Al Medani, CEO of RTA Corporate Support Services, and Ali Ibrahim, deputy director general at the Dubai Economic Department (DED).
Senior representatives from the participating government departments also attended the opening ceremony.
Al Malik said: 'Taasees reflects our innovative and consistent approach to offering integrated services not just to investors, but also to those serving the surrounding communities at Jebel Ali and other new areas such as Dubai Marina and Ibn Battuta Mall.'
'The centre will also cater to various entities within Tatweer such as Dubailand, Bawadi and The Tiger Woods Dubai to name but a few as an ideal setting for processing a large variety of government transactions.'

Taasees offers visa application and renewal services, labour permit and card issuance, new company license issuance, utility bill payment system, municipality fee payment system, custom clearing documents, traffic license renewal, among a host of other daily transactions.
Visitors to Dubai Industrial City can also benefit from the government services provided by Taasees, in addition to accessing other support facilities such as banking, typing, and dedicated corporate services.
