The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has unveiled the 20th issue of its Commercial Directory 2008-2009, a report said.

Seen as an effective business tool, the directory is published in separate Arabic and English editions. The new directory has 3.3 per cent more listings compared to last year's edition, according to the Gulf News report.

The new edition has listed all types of active businesses in Dubai and registered with the Dubai Chamber as well as updates and information on businesses and economic activities in the UAE and Dubai.

There is also an overview of Dubai's economic and trade activities, infrastructure, free zones, social services, procedures for obtaining licences, future Dubai projects and a brief description of services offered by the Chamber.
