Renowned Italian gelateria, Morelli’s Gelato will open a new hallmark store in Khalidiya Mall, Abu Dhabi in November, to serve up signature scoops of freshly made ice-cream, sorbets and gelato alongside the tastiest panini’s and rich Italian coffee.

Operated by Gourmet Gulf Company, owner of some of the region's most famous restaurant concepts, Morelli’s will offer over 36 different, luscious flavours made on-premises daily, only from the finest ingredients based on a family recipe that has been preserved for over a 100 years, said a statement.

“Morelli’s is not just an ice-cream shop, it is an authentic Italian Gelato store such as you would find in the quaint side streets of Rome or Florence.  With a flagship store in Harrod’s, this is no ordinary experience, it is the ‘Rolls Royce’ of premium ice cream, and we are delighted to introduce another branch to the residents of Abu Dhabi, who have proven to be loyal fans,” said president of Gourmet Gulf Company, Antonio Bautista.

Famous worldwide, Morelli’s flagship store is located in Harrod’s of Knightsbridge, where thousands of high brow shoppers stop by every day for a specialty cone. 

The second branch to open in Abu Dhabi, with the first in Al Wahda Mall, Morelli’s Khalidiya Mall will be a welcome treat for ice-cream connoisseurs and families alike, with an array of hot sandwiches, delightful pastries and aromatic coffees to complete the offering.
