‘Bahrain Comedy Show’ a great success

'Bahrain Comedy Show' organised by SJ Media Group and sponsored by the Global Tourism Club drew more than 4000 people throughout it's two days of continuous laughter.
Many important figures attended the event, said the organiser.
The Show, the first in the kingdom and held at the Al Ahli Sports Centre in Zinj on October 2 and 3, featured Maz Jobrani and Ahmed Ahmed, two members of ‘Axis of evil’ and some of the best regional and local comedians.
Salah Janahi, CEO of SJ Media Group, the organiser, said: "During Eid el Fitr holiday, when people are away form the tension of work, they need such entertaining event to release all their stresses. The huge success of ‘Bahrain Comedy’ proves how Bahraini people are open for Comedy shows. I really hope that we will have more of these events in the near future."
The comedy show introduced some of the best local and regional stand-up comedians, with opening acts by Baraa Abdulla, Yousif Taha, Fahad Al Butairi, Rehman Akhtar and followed by Waddah Swar.
The MC of the event was Imran Al Aradi who himself entertained the audience with his brand of humour.
"If we laugh at ourselves, others will laugh with us," said Ahmed Ahmed during the show. - TradeArabia News Service
