Former New York City Mayor and US 2008 presidential primary candidate, Rudolph Giuliani, will return as a keynote speaker at the 2008 Leaders in Dubai Business Forum.

The forum is to take place from November 16 to 18 at Dubai International Convention Centre. He will discuss the topic of rebuilding optimism in international business and trade in keeping with this year’s forum theme, ‘Emerging Strategies for Tomorrow’s Challenges.’

“We are delighted that Giuliani will be joining us again at Leaders in Dubai Business Forum,” said Lucy Mountain, conference director.

“Many things have changed since Giuliani was last with us in 2004 and he is the ideal person to discuss present relations and future trade opportunities between the Middle East and the United States.’

‘Rudy’ Giuliani is a former US Attorney who prosecuted a number of high-profile cases, including ones against organized crime and Wall Street financiers.

He served two terms as the 107th Mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2001.

Other confirmed speakers for this year’s forum include James Wolfensohn, Mohamed ElBaradei, Tom Peters, Sir Winfried Bischoff, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Dave Ulrich, Geoffrey West, Thomas Frey, Rajat Gupta and David Taylor.-TradeArabia News Service
