Al Rabie Saudi Foods Co Ltd., a leading producer of dairy products and juices in Saudi Arabia, has announced plans to boost its production of health-oriented beverages and dairy products.

The move is in response to growing regional and global consumer demand, said Al Rabie, the largest juice manufacturer in the Middle East.

“Al Rabie will take advantage of the current consumer trend within the Gulf favouring healthy food and drinks to further boost its sales in the region’s booming market of 800 million litres of juices and beverages per year,” said Monther Al Harthi, CEO of the company.

The announcement comes only weeks after the company launched an expansion program aimed at fortifying its local and export markets through key investments intended to enhance distribution processes, particularly in non-traditional channels.

Al Harthi said: “Our country is currently the largest market for food and beverages in the Gulf.
