De Bono event sold out
Manama, May 26, 2008
The full-day Edward de Bono event to be held in Bahrain on June 1 has been sold out, according to the organisers.
A capacity audience from 10 countries will hear Dr de Bono – the creator of lateral thinking – speak live and in person, and Tina Schneidermann, president of Global Leaders, urged people not to turn up on the day to buy tickets.
“For anyone who has not managed to buy a ticket yet, you can contact us to see if we have had any cancellations, but I am delighted to say that the event has sold out,” said Schneidermann.
“The market feedback has clearly been that this is the ‘must-attend’ event of the year in the kingdom, thanks to the calibre of the speaker and the wider application of his concepts in regional business,” she said.
De Bono will be teaching some of his patented lateral thinking techniques in person during an exclusive one-day event in Bahrain, entitled Maximising Creativity and Lateral Thinking to Deliver Strategic Success, on June 1.
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court in Bahrain, has confirmed his patronage for the event and will open the event in person.
Many of the region’s leading companies are sending delegates to benefit from Dr de Bono’s concepts on lateral and creative thinking.
These include: Saudi Aramco; NCB Capital; Bahrain Petroleum; Gulf International Bank; Bahrain Middle East Bank; GPIC; United Food; West Region Municipality; Universal Media; Gulf Finance House; Bahrain National Holding; Kuwait Finance House; as well as a number of government ministries.
The full-day conference is the latest in a series of thought leadership events to be held in Bahrain, organised by Global Leaders, following on from Ken Blanchard, the author of One Minute Manager, and Deepak Chopra. – TradeArabia News Service
