Global Leaders wins DIFC licence

Dubai, May 13, 2008

Global Leaders, an international events company with offices in France, UK and South Africa, has been awarded a licence by Dubai International Financial Centre.

The company has offices in Dubai and Bahrain in the GCC.

The company has chosen Dubai as the international hub for its bespoke events consultancy division, cor.pro, and has already run a number of events in the financial sector including a full week of events, seminars and lectures for a Gulf financial institution last November.

Tina Schneidermann, president of Global Leaders, said: “Dubai was the natural choice for our bespoke event business. There is a high volume of company launches, as well as a commitment from existing companies to explore new and creative stakeholder communications programmes.

“Our Gulf public events programme is currently focused on Bahrain, but we are exploring options in other Gulf countries for the last quarter of 2008 and into 2009.”

In the last three months in Dubai alone, Global Leaders has completed launch projects for two banks as well as a foreign direct investment-focused conference.

Global Leaders is hosting a full day event with Edward de Bono, the world’s foremost creative and lateral thinker, live and in person on June 1.

The de Bono event, sponsored by Addax Bank, follows on from full-day conferences with Deepak Chopra and Ken Blanchard, author of One Minute Manager. – TradeArabia News Service
