Wunderman wins 10 Lynx awards

Wunderman, the leading Dubai-based direct marketing agency, once again proved its credentials in the region with a remarkable performance at the Dubai Lynx 2008 awards, part of the first Dubai International Advertising Festival.
Wunderman scooped a total of 10 awards – two gold, five silver and three bronze – with seven in the ‘Direct’ category, two in the ‘Media’ category and one in the ‘Interactive’ category, said an official spokesman.
The agency’s seven ‘Direct’ wins pay tribute to its work for such diverse clients as banking giant Citibank, technology specialists Microsoft, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the BurJuman mall.
“The Dubai Lynx ‘Direct’ awards showcase our consistency and quality across the spectrum of industries,” said managing director, Wunderman MENA Nassib Boueri.
“Our creativity, attention to detail, and ability to understand client needs allow us to respond to any business need effectively.”
The agency won silver in the ‘Interactive’ category for its work on FedEx, and was singled out for Gold and Silver in the ‘Media’ category for Best Use of Special Effects/Stunts/Live Advertising for its work on Microsoft and BurJuman respectively.
The second Dubai Lynx Awards, for creative excellence in the Middle East and North Africa region, were presented last week and round out a second consecutive year of success for the agency.
In February, Wunderman triumphed at the third edition of the Mena Cristal Awards, winning the Grand Cristal for the BurJuman “Open Your Eyes” breast cancer awareness campaign. Wunderman also has the distinction of being the region's first Cannes Gold Lion winner for direct marketing in 2006. – TradeArabia News Service
