Showtime Arabia has launched JimJam, a new channel committed to providing a responsible and entertaining environment for pre-school children.

The new channel is available to Showtime Customers from April 14, 2008, the leading Pay-TV network in the Middle East & North Africa said in a statement.

JimJam features well-loved characters pre-eminent animation programmes including Angelina Ballerina, Barney & Friends, Bob the Builder, Thomas & Friends and James the Cat.

“JimJam adds to the best in Kids entertainment available on our network as it contains some of the world's most popular parent-trusted programming providing audiences with highly-entertaining, family-friendly experiences delivered in innovative ways,” said President and CEO Marc-Antoine d’Halluin.
