GAIF success for Eventscom
Manama, March 11, 2008
The successful organisation of the 27th General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF) Conference in Bahrain, has added another feather in the cap of Eventscom, a leading public relations and event management consultancy.
Bahrain Insurance Association (BIA), the official host of GAIF which took place from February 26-28, had entrusted Eventscom with the task of organising and publicising the conference, which had drawn over 1,300 delegates, representing 61 nationalities.
The success of GAIF ultimately reflects on Bahrain in terms of its professional stature, and intrinsic hospitality, and Eventscom could not be prouder with its appointment, said CEO Eventscom-Bahrain, Zahraa Taher.
She expressed her gratitude to the BIA for providing Eventscom with such an exceptional opportunity.
“Eventscom has a broad performance profile on both regional and international levels. However, it is always heartening when the Kingdom’s government and corporate sectors, place their trust in a fellow Bahraini company, signaling their faith in the domestic workforce. In an industry which centres on knowing how to communicate with your audience and effectively deliver your message, an inherent understanding of the local culture is pivotal,” Taher said.
Eventscom has been involved in some of the most important regional and international events including Red Bull’s Formula 1 Season Opening party in 2006, the recent Homeland and Global Security Forum in collaboration with Ministry of Interior and Monaco’s Crans Montana Forum.
The Company organized the Fifth International Conference on Islamic Economics and Finance (ICIEF), literally days after it had been officially established, said Taher
Formerly T & M EVENTSCOM, Eventscom – Bahrain recently merged with ENVENT (Oman) creating a bigger organisation with greater global reach.
Taher, the firm’s driving force, has consistently been requested to speak at various seminars and conferences to share her communications and event management expertise. –TradeArabia News Service
