Abu Dhabi Co-operative Society (Adcoops), the leading retail chain in Abu Dhabi and the UAE, handed over three Mercedes 2008 C Series cars to the three winners of its seasonal “Live the good life” promotion.

Khamis Obaid Muftah and Qamar Mohamed, both UAE nationals and Essam Osman Mubharak from Jordan were the three lucky winners. They were awarded the keys of their new Mercedes at Mina Center in Abu Dhabi.

“I am so happy about this. This is a gift from God,” said Muftah. “Being the first supermarket in Abu Dhabi, we have always been shopping with Adcoops as it caters for all of my family’s needs, and we have always participated in all its promotions,” said the UAE national.

“I am very happy about winning this promotion, particularly because I am an avid fan of Mercedes as this is the most popular car in Jordan,” said Mubharak who is a frequent shopper at Adcoops.

“I would like to thank Allah for my luck and Adcoops management for running the promotion.” The Jordanian national who works in a petroleum company also commended the retailer for offering quality products at competitive cheaper prices.

The “Live the good life” promotion, which ran from November 29 to  January 26 and coincided with Eid Al Adha, Christmas and New Year celebrations, entitled the shoppers a chance to participate in the raffle for every Dh100 ($27) purchase at any Adcoops outlet in Abu Dhabi, including Costless Electronics and Costless Infotech.

The draw was held on January 28 at ADCOOPS Abu Dhabi Mall branch.
