Top stars for Lord’s Taverners Gala Dinner

The Lord's Taverners will present its fourth annual Gala Dinner Dance in the stunning new Raffles Ballroom in the Raffles Hotel, Dubai on January 19.

A host of celebrities from the world of sport and entertainment will be attending including hosts, TV personalities Chris Tarrant and Nick Hancock. 

Former England cricket captain and ex-president of The Lord's Taverners Mike Gatting will be also be in attendance.  Raising money for disadvantaged children, the evening promises to be a night of fabulous entertainment, music, comedy and fun including a special appearance by The Counterfeit Stones, the number one Rolling Stones tribute act.

The Counterfeit Stones will also be playing in a one off concert at the Tennis Stadium on January 20.  Nicknamed ‘the second biggest rock band in the world’ Nick Dagger and his band have been touring the world for 11 years to rave reviews and sell out gigs.

The money raised at e dinner and concert will benefit special needs causes in Dubai and in the UK.  The beneficiaries of funds raised from ticket sales in Dubai will include The Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre, The Al Noor Training Centre and the Dubai Centre for children with special needs.

Host Chris Tarrant, is a national institution in the UK, presenting radio and television shows for the past 25 years including the incredibly popular and worldwide hit ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’.

Fellow host, Nick Hancock is one of the UK’s best-loved stand-up comedians and television presenters.  Nick’s ‘They Think It’s All Over’ programme brought a fresh approach to sports quiz shows and certainly broke the mould.
