Dubai Properties sponsors Philharmonic concert

Dubai, January 9, 2008

Dubai Properties successfully sponsored another enthralling concert by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, this time at the newly opened National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, China, as part of their three-year sponsorship agreement.

Held on January 6, 2008, the concert was led by the orchestra's former principal conductor Kurt Masur, and was the second of the series of five concerts to be held worldwide between 2007 and 2009, said an official spokesman.

The first concert of the series, which took place in October 2007, was held at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

The orchestra is also scheduled to perform at Dubai Properties’ Culture Village when the project is completed in 2010.

“Both the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Dubai Properties are brand leaders, synonymous with excellence and versatility. The Beijing concert witnessed an incredible number of visitors, who were enchanted by the exhilarating performance of one of the world’s most respected orchestras,” said marketing director, Dubai Properties, Farhad Seddiq.

Culture Village is one of Dubai Properties’ niche projects. Other unique projects by the master developer include the Vision Tower and Executive Towers at Business Bay, Al Waha Villas and The Villa in Dubailand. – TradeArabia News Service
