Deepak Chopra inspires Bahrain
Manama, December 11, 2007
Deepak Chopra, one of the most inspiring speakers in the world, spoke in the presence of a high number of dignitaries and corporate VIPs in Bahrain today in his first public appearance in the Kingdom.
The event was inaugurated by Sheikh Ahmed Atteyat Alla Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Cabinet Affairs, who was joined by 25 other high-ranking officials.
Held at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain, the event was the second in a series on leadership by Global Leaders, following a day with Ken Blanchard, author of One Minute Manager, in March.
Tina Schneidermann, president of Global Leaders, said: “The presence of Deepak Chopra, among so many figures from the public sector, shows the commitment of Bahrain to developing its national workforce, as well as providing opportunities for the whole business community.”
Through more than two decades of work since leaving his medical practice, Chopra continues to revolutionise common wisdom about the crucial connection between body, mind, spirit, and healing.
Dr Chopra’s mission of 'bridging the technological miracles of the west with the wisdom of the east' remains his thrust and provides the basis for his recognition as one of India’s historically greatest ambassadors to the west.--TradeArabia News Service
