Kuwait , October 13, 2007
Midas has delivered 150,000 military stackable/detachable beds with mattresses.
The first order for military beds with mattresses was received four years ago, in 2003, and since then Midas has supplied over 150,000 units throughout Iraq , Kuwait, and Dubai, said a Midas official.
Midas military bed part No. HD512S set the benchmark for an unprecedented demand for military beds with Mattresses throughout the Middle East. It was through hard work and diligence that Midas was able to meet the strict requirements of quality, durability and practicality, requested by US Military Armed forces, and KBR.
Midas design teams worked on production adjustments and technical specifications provided by procurement and quality controls specialists to modify the beds in order to support heavy weight capacity exceeding 350lbs per bed.
The HD512S was modified and designed as a single, which can also be made into a bunk bed by combining two beds together. The frame of the bed was manufactured and tested to withstand an excess weight strain to prevent collapsing during use with weights exceeding 350lbs.
Every HD512 features its patented K-mesh, tension springs to provide a flexible yet firm feel while sleeping, along with side slat lateral beams to add to safety of the beds while stacking and utilised as bunk beds. - TradeArabia News Service
