New edition of Bahrain guide published

The10th edition of a Visitor's Complete Guide to Bahrain is now available at all major bookshops.
The 224-page 2007/2008 edition is edited and designed by former GDN journalist Archie D'Cruz and published by Arab World Tours.
It contains information on accommodation, tourist attractions, eating out, shopping facilities, spas, entertainment, nightlife, sports facilities and transportation.
It also has special features on Bahrain's 5,000 year-old history; the historical city of Muharraq; 51 must-see attractions; and Bahrain's traditional arts and crafts.
The book is aimed at tourists, new residents and others interested in finding out more about Bahrain.
"In this issue we increased the business section and created a section on the new developments of Bahrain, which highlight eight major projects," said Arab World Tours founder and publisher Ali Mushaima.
"We have also introduced a new Resident's Guide section because a lot of people moving to Bahrain get the guide through our embassies, so we wanted to do something aimed at them."
The guide is priced at BD4 and is available at all major bookshops, as well as the Bahrain National Museum and airport. - TradeArabia News Service
