Emarat offers DSS bonanza

Dubai, June 18, 2007

Emarat will offer its customers prizes worth over Dh1.5 million ($408,430) during the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS).

A major sponsor of the event since its debut a decade ago, Emarat, has launched a special promotional campaign “Win a Dream Home in Dubai Lagoon” this DSS.

The campaign enables all Emarat customers to win prizes worth more than Dh1.5 million including a two-bedroom apartment worth Dh1.3 million, said a top official.

'Any shopper who spends over Dh25 on any services offered by Emarat’s petrol station, except for fuel, will obtain a coupon that will allow him or her to enter a raffle draw on a weekly basis for a cash prize of Dh25,000 and a Polaris Quad Bike for a period of ten weeks,' Emarat’s corporate communications manager Hussain Kazim said.

'Participants will automatically enter the draw on the big prize towards the end of the campaign. This is in addition to a weekly draw for a cash amount of Dh25,000 and a quad bike,' Kazim added.

Kazim said the corporation’s successful sponsorship was part of its efforts to help in boosting the country’s economy and society for the benefit of the nation and its people.

“These festivities represent a major stride in the country’s march towards development and prosperity and this is one of the reasons why it has attracted so much attention from the press and the people.'

'What we would like to do is to assert our partnership, year after year, through our continuous support for the event’s various activities and their enrichment with our annual campaigns,” he added.

He emphasised that the promotional campaign, as part of this year’s festivities, will be “very popular and will attract attention from the public due to the significance of the prize which consists of an apartment at the Lagoon”. TradeArabia News Service
