The UAE-based Al Rawabi Dairy Company, a leading milk and fruit juice producer, has put off a planned rise in prices of its products, a report said.

The company told local retailers “the price increase will be postponed until further notice,” within days of sending them a revised price list, said the Gulf News report.

The company’s previous attempt to increase prices of products was also called off following a warning by the Ministry of Economy in March to dairy companies not to increase prices, the report said.
