Bahrain Cinema Company (Cineco), a market leader in the entertainment industry in the kingdom, has announced the opening of a new three-screen Cineplex at the Al Khor Mall in Qatar.

With an area of approximately 1272 sq m, the new Cineplex has a total number of 510 seats. The three screens have 277, 146 and 82 seats respectively.

Featuring the most advanced audio and visual features, the cinema is also host to the latest technology and most comfortable seating, hence providing the screening of quality movies of international acclaim, a statement said.

Ahmed Rashed, chief executive officer of Bahrain Cinema Company said: “We are thrilled to have expanded our presence to the densely populated area of Al Khor. There has been an increasing demand for entertainment in the district and we have taken it upon ourselves to provide our audiences with additional quality entertainment. The new Cineplex is a lot closer to home for a vast number of movie viewers and we look forward to welcoming more customers from all areas.”
