Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s first mega waterpark, has launched a new pearl diving show and underwater dance.

Performed six times daily in the park’s purpose-built pearl diving aquarium and free to all Yas Waterworld ticketed guests, the ‘Spirit of the Pearl’ show features a talented troupe of synchronized swimming dancers from across the globe.

The performances are aimed at educating guests wishing to find out more about the UAE’s rich culture and heritage, as well as own a part of it with a beautiful pearl souvenir.

Showcasing traditional Emirati pearl diving, the breathtaking 10 minute performance and amazing underwater dancing pay tribute to the story behind Yas Waterworld, as performed on an underwater stage. Visitors to the park can experience the legend as brought to life through ‘Spirit of the Pearl’ from behind a glass viewing platform until the end of March 2014.

“National Day celebrations will be taking place across the UAE on Monday and indeed the spirit of those celebrations will last all week.
