Emirates NBD, a leading banking group in the region, recently announced the linking of its mobile banking app to the Dubai government’s Smart Dubai Happiness Meter.

The Smart Dubai Happiness Meter is a scientific approach to measuring happiness. Emirates NBD customers will be given the choice to choose between three ratings: happy, unhappy and neutral depending on the quality of their experience with the bank’s mobile banking app creating a direct link for feedback between the bank and its customers, the bank said.

Hesham Abdulla Al Qassim, vice chairman and managing director of Emirates NBD, said: “The Smart Dubai Happiness Meter is an extremely efficient and quick means to receive feedback from our customer base on how they rate their experience with our mobile banking app. Emirates NBD prides itself on providing best-in-class digital services and will use this tracker as a means of judging our own offerings while we continuously strive to achieve every single response as happy.”

The Emirates NBD mobile banking app has been a top ranker in the finance category in the app store, and was recently awarded ‘Best Mobile Payment Product of the Year’ at the Asian Banker International Excellence in Retail Financial Services Awards, the bank said. –TradeArabia News Service
