Edarat wins NEOM cloud infrastructure contract

Saudi-based Edarat Communication and Information Technology Company has announced that it has secured a new contract worth SAR8.62 million ($2.3 million) for an existing cloud contract with NEOM, the developers of Saudi futuristic city.
It has also been awarded a contract to provide Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS), said Edarat in its filing to Saudi bourse Tadawul.
The new purchase order is an extension to an existing framework contract that was announced last May to deliver Cloud Services to NEOM.
The entire work will be completed within a 12-month period.
On the financial impact, Edarat said this contract is expected to have an impact on the financial statements of the company during Q4 of 2024.-TradeArabia News Service
