Bahrain will take centre stage for digital skills development as it prepares to host the prestigious International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Digital Skills Forum from September 17 to 19, 2024.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) will host this gathering, which will bring together global leaders, policymakers, industry experts, and training practitioners to discuss the critical role of digital skills in driving sustainable development.

TRA General Director, Philip Marnick, said: "Bahrain is committed to fostering a digital-first economy, and the ITU Digital Skills Forum aligns perfectly with our national priorities. By bringing together experts from around the world, we aim to help everyone develop the skills they need to succeed in the digital world.”
