Register lines before Sept 2, urges Bahrain TRA

MANAMA, August 30, 2018

Bahrain’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has reminded mobile subscribers to register their post-paid SIM cards before September 2.

TRA further clarifies that failing to register within the specified period will result in suspension of the service on a temporary basis, failing to register again during the suspension period will result in final deactivation by December 2.

This initiative is part of the authority’s on-ongoing efforts to protect and safeguard subscribers from fraud and identity theft, it said.

TRA advised subscribers to visit their service providers and present verification documents to complete registration and avoid deactivation. – TradeArabia News Service
