Kingston to showcase latest flash drive at Gitex

DUBAI, October 5, 2017

Kingston Technology, a world leader in memory products, will showcase its newest affordable business grade security solution at the upcoming Gitex Technology Week, an annual consumer computer and electronics trade show, in Dubai, UAE.

The 37th edition of the event will be held from October 8 to 12 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

The DataTraveler Vault Privacy 3.0 USB Flash Drive comes fully equipped with a 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption in XTS mode--resulting in 100 per cent protection of stored data and enforces complex password protection with minimum characteristics to prevent unauthorized access.

“Over the last few years, Kingston has placed strong investment in the region, demonstrating our long-term commitment towards providing the best technologies and solutions to help protect the data of our clients and channel partners. Being at Gitex 2017 will go a long way in our efforts to increase our brand visibility across our targeted audiences, provide support to existing clients and meet potential new partners and clients. We look forward to seeing everyone at Gitex,” said Antoine Harb, team leader Middle East and North Africa, Kingston Technology.

Recent industry reports have shown the continuing emergence of newer threats like viruses, spyware, trojans, worms, rootkits, adware and other evolving forms of internet-borne threats.

Looking to help address this growing global concern, Kingston will be leveraging the new DataTraveler Vault Privacy 3.0 USB Flash Drive in its three offered options--standard, managed and anti-virus models--across participants and visitors to this year's edition of Gitex.

The new unit offers key protection as it supports SafeConsole management and comes with an anti-virus protection from ESET. Utilizing SuperSpeed technology (USB 3.0), the DataTraveler Vault Privacy 3.0 USB Flash Drive is FIPS 197 certified and TAA compliant--frequently requested corporate and government IT standard requirements.

The DataTraveler Vault Privacy 3.0 USB Flash Drive is available in 4GB, 8 GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities. The unit is fully customizable--allowing IT professionals to enable a complete set of centralized administration and management tools when used with the server-based, control centre technology of SafeConsole.

Kingston will also be showcasing the KC1000 NVMe PCIe SSD, a new solid state drive unit that is twice as fast as Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) based SSDs and more than 40 times faster than a 7200RPM hard-disk drive.

The unit has been developed to be the perfect SSD of choice for HD video, PC and gaming enthusiasts--offering ultimate, low-latency performance boost for resource-demanding applications like high-resolution video editing, data visualization, gaming and other data intensive workload environments.

Available in 240GB, 480GB and 960GB capacities, the KC1000 can deliver up to 290,000 IOPS and is compatible with the PCIe Gen3 x4 interface and the latest NVMe protocol. Other key features of this SSD include key improvements and enhancements for high-resolution video editing, virtual and augmented reality applications, CAD software applications, streaming media, graphically intensive video games, data visualization, and real-time analytics. – TradeArabia News Service
