Windows 10 Fall Creators Update launch on Oct 17

Microsoft Corp recently announced the next update of Windows 10, the Fall Creators Update, to be made available worldwide on October 17, at the IFA conference in Berlin, Germany.  

With this new update, the company is introducing some fun and new ways to get creative, said a statement.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization to achieve more, and the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update marks the next step in the Windows journey, empowering creativity in users, it said.

As part of the update Microsoft will deliver an evolution to the photos experience that will let users tell their story like never before using photos, videos, and 3D effects; enhancements in gaming, security, accessibility, and immersive new experiences made possible by Windows Mixed Reality. All of this innovation will be brought to life by a range of beautifully designed, and feature rich modern devices available from hardware partners.

IFA Berlin is one of the world’s oldest and largest trade shows for consumer electronics, and has been one of the foremost destinations to see innovation and ingenuity on display. During the exhibition week, Microsoft also shared exciting details about Windows Mixed Reality which includes the first wave of content experiences, and the collaboration between Cortana and Alexa on Windows 10.

The Windows Mixed Reality headsets will be available from a wide range of partners around the world, such as Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo, at prices starting $299.  – TradeArabia News Service
