Ooredoo Kuwait names new brand ambassador

Ooredoo Kuwait, a leading telecom services operator in the country, has appointed Kuwaiti equestrian Rakan Al Hasawi as its brand ambassador for the current 2017-2018 season.
Al Hasawi has won a number of awards locally and regionally, such as the CHI Al-Shaqab horse hurdles competition in Qatar, the Kuwait Police Show Jumping Tournament, the Kuwait Riding Center Tournament, and as well as the Hala Febrayer 2017 which was sponsored by Ooredoo Kuwait recently, among other competitions, it said.
The sponsorship comes in alignment with Ooredoo Kuwait’s commitment to enriching youth and supporting their passions, said a statement from the company, a member of international Ooredoo Group.
Empowering youth is among Ooredoo’s top priorities through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy, it added.
The company has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs, to support youth projects and initiatives.
