Network, GMG to implement mPOS at Sun & Stand Sports

Network International, a leading payment solutions provider in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region, in partnership with GMG (Gulf Marketing Group) has implemented a queue busting mobile point of sale (mPOS1) solution for GMG’s leading retail brand Sun & Sand Sports.
The mobility solution is the region’s first mPOS solution that uses the Verifone E315 iOS platform and has been implemented in Sun & Sand Sports’ flagship stores in The Dubai Mall and City Centre Me’aisem, said a statement.
The integrated all-in-one-device has an iOS based application which can scan barcodes, check inventory and price and conduct card payment transactions.
The digital experience has been completed with an email receipt, enabling stores to offer customers a seamless shopping experience.
The new technology complements the dynamic digital environment, touch-screen displays, interactive trial zones and innovative consumer journey that visitors already enjoy in Sun & Sand Sports’ concept stores.
