Computex Taipei to showcase IoT innovations

TAIPEI, TAIWAN, January 7, 2016

Computex Taipei is gearing-up to open from May 31 to June 4 in Taiwan. It will be showcasing new products, innovations and exhibits for this year. 
 
One of the features of the show, named Building Partnerships in Internet Computing Ecosystems, will focus on IoT applications, innovative start-ups and business solutions, said an exhibition statement. 
 
Companies including Intel, Microsoft, ARM, Haier, Hisense, Supermicro, Mediatek, Acer, Asus, Benq, Thermaltek, Coolermaster, E-lead and Siemens will be premiering their latest innovations and launching new products as part of the feature, the statement added. 
 
New Exhibits
 
Computex Taipei will also be featuring three new exhibits this year, including SmarTEX, InnoVEX and iStyle, according to the statement. 
 
SmarTEX has attracted 200 exhibitors to display the newest IoT and smart tech applications with emphases on home and entertainment; smart security control; smart car and automotive electronics; and wearables.
 
InnoVEX is a platform where ICT and IoT innovators can showcase their latest projects. 
 
The iStyle exhibit is a special showcase for Apple certified peripherals, accessories and software. 
 
Computex d&I awards
 
Taitra, one of the organisers of the exhibition, is collaborating with International Forum Design (iF) for the Computex d&i awards, which honour products with excellent design as well as technical innovation. In addition to displaying the winners at Computex Taipei, Taitra will send these winning products on a world tour to CES, MWC, IFA, IndoComtech, and COM-IT in 2016.
 
2016 Events, Keynotes, B2B Meetings and more  
 
The Computex Taipei press conference, to be held on May 30, will feature new product announcements as well as display of 2016 Computex d&i awards winning products.
 
This year’s keynote and summit forums will be based on the themes of Future Technology and Innovation along with IoT ecosystems and IoT applications such as smart home and entertainment, smart solutions, wearables, security applications and automotive electronics. 
 
Taitra will be organising professional B2B procurement meetings where buyers’ needs will be matched with the right suppliers. 
 
Computex app
 
The Computex app has numerous unique features, one them being the indoor positioning and navigation system. By opening the app, visitors can get short cuts to any booth, and never get lost, said the statement. 
 
Visitors can also save desired events, exhibitions and products onto the app and receive reminders. There will also be exhibitor recommendations for registered visitors, it added. -TradeArabia News Service
