SLA Mobile, a leading mobile solutions provider, along with Zain, a leading mobile telecommunications company in Bahrain, has launched Direct Operator Billing within the region.

 

The simple and convenient mobile payment solution, also known as Carrier Billing, will allow Zain Bahrain's customers to purchase digital and virtual content via their mobile phone by using their pre-paid credit or charging the transaction to their post-paid bill, said a statement.

 

Fatima Haider, marketing specialist, Zain Bahrain, said: "At Zain, we are focused on bringing new innovative Digital Services to our customers that have the ability to deliver an improved end user experience. Direct Operator Billing is the latest service that will give our customers a seamless and secure way to pay for online content through their mobile phone with no need to create an account or input card details.

 

"The launch of Direct Operator Billing in partnership with SLA Mobile will allow our customers to connect with a variety of online merchants using a payment solution that they can trust."

Zain Bahrain customers can use Zain's Direct Operator Billing capability 'Zain Pay' with major app stores such as Windows Phone Store and Samsung Galaxy Apps as well as local and international merchants, siad the statement.
