Etisalat to launch new iPhone 6s, 6s Plus in UAE

UAE's leading telecommunications operator Etisalat is set to launch the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, in key business centres and retail outlets across the emirates on the midnight of October 10.
The devices will be available in silver, space gray, rose gold and gold colours, said a statement.
The iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 5s will also be available at Etisalat’s Business Centers, it said.
The new models bring a powerful new dimension to iPhone’s multi-touch interface with 3D touch, which senses force to enable intuitive new ways to access features and interact with content.
The new iPhone introduces a transformative new approach to photography called Live Photos, bringing still images to life by capturing a moment in motion.
Live Photos, 3D Touch, 12-megapixel iSight camera, five-megapixel FaceTime HD camera with retina flash and more are powered with Apple-designed A9 chip, the most advanced chip ever in a smartphone, delivering faster performance and great battery life.
The smartphones have been designed with Retina HD displays made from the strongest glass and 7,000 series aluminium, the same alloy used in the aerospace industry, in metallic finishes that now include rose gold.
Etisalat’s customers will now be able to take advantage of Etisalat’s fastest LTE network with turbo speeds of up to 300 Mbps, covering more than 90 per cent of the country’s populated area.
The iPhone 6s will be available from Etisalat on monthly rentals of Dh265 ($72), Dh400 and Dh650 while the iPhone 6s Plus will be available at Dh290, Dh425 and Dh675 monthly.
In addition, customers can enjoy monthly data allowance of 5GB, 10GB and 20GB respectively.
Etisalat’s smartphone plans for iPhone 6s also includes flexi or local minutes on all three packages, such as the 20GB monthly data package bundled with 750 flexi or 2,000 local minutes. The pepaid customers can also get the devices with 10 GB free data.
