Ooredoo launches franchise store in Oman’s Mussanah

MUSCAT, October 4, 2015

Leading telecommunications provider Ooredoo has joined hands with its long-term partner and store operator Enhance, a WJ Towell company, to open its first franchise store in Mussanah, South Al Batinah, Oman.

The store will provide Ooredoo’s range of products and services to customers and local communities in the area, said a statement from the company.

The latest branch, Ooredoo’s tenth concept store, was inaugurated by Sheikh Ghusan bin Zaher Al Abri, deputy wali of Al Mussanah, accompanied by members of the company’s management team, it said.

Ooredoo’s trusted partner Enhance has been supporting the company since the telecoms provider was first introduced to the Omani market 10 years ago. As both companies continue to experience significant growth, their focus on customer engagement and delivering a leading retail experience has set a new service standard in Oman, it added.

Presently, Ooredoo has a growing number of franchise stores which extend across the wilayats of Rustaq, Amerat and Al Musannah, Jalan Bani Bu Ali, Sinaw, Saham, Samail, Mussanah and Sa’dah, said the statement.

Ahmad Abbas, general manager of Retail Solutions at Enhance Oman, said: “The opening of our first store in Mussanah will undoubtedly add great value to the local commercial experience, as the locals can now explore Ooredoo’s products and services without having to travel outside of the wilayat.”

Feras Al Shaikh, director of consumer sales at Ooredoo, said: “Our concept stores are an important part of our strategy to reach communities throughout the sultanate, and to bring us closer to our customers in all regions.”

“This is an important part of connecting with our customers and inspiring people through our dynamic brand,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
