Du launches Fly for free promotion

DUBAI, September 5, 2015

UAE-based telecommunications provider du is offering a golden opportunity to its customers for flying free to several key destinations this September under a special promotion.

As per the offer, all new customers who subscribe between September 6 and 30 to the Smart or Emirati Plan 300 or above with a Data Promotion – 10 GB – 12 month contract will be eligible for a free return flight ticket from du – to the destination of their choice, said the statement fronm du.

Within two weeks of activating their plan, eligible customers will receive an SMS with a unique code to access the campaign website – flywithdu.ae – where they can upload their details and choose their travel dates and the destinations of their choice.   

There are 23 popular destinations to choose from including Bahrain, Kuwait, Muscat, Dammam, Istanbul, Riyadh, Doha, Karachi, Delhi, Mumbai, Cairo, Amman, Beirut, Colombo, Kerala (India), Athens, Manila, London, Paris, Rome, Kiev, Stockholm, and Moscow.

All flights will depart from either Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah, depending on the destination and preferred date. The offer will end on September 30 or until stocks last, the statement added.

With destinations such as London, Cairo and Amman topping the most popular travel lists in the UAE, du is taking its commitment to connecting customers a step further by giving each new subscriber to one of its Smart or Emirati 300 and above Plans a free flight this September, said a top official.

“Our commitment to our customers is unwavering. This September we are taking our pledge to continue adding life to life a step further by connecting our customers with the destinations of their choice,” remarked Fahad Al Hassawi, the chief commercial officer.
