Batelco gets Gold status in top networks programme
MANAMA, August 22, 2015
Bahrain-based Batelco, a leading communications solutions provider, has become the first company in the kingdom to achieve Gold status in the Palo Alto Networks NextWave Partner Programme.
The telecom provider reached the Gold partnership level within a year of joining the NextWave Partner Programme, a statement said.
Batelco has joined forces with Palo Alto Networks, which has pioneered next-generation enterprise security with an innovative platform that allows businesses and governments to prevent breaches and safely enable an increasingly complex and rapidly growing number of applications.
The platform includes the Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall, Threat Intelligence Cloud and Advanced Endpoint Protection – all of which have been tightly integrated, to give organizations extensive visibility and control, and confidence to pursue new business ventures, while protecting the organization from the latest cyber threats.
Batelco helps to keep its customers up to date on the cyber security landscape via hands-on Ultimate Test Drive sessions, the statement said, adding that the company now has the required Palo Alto Network demonstration products to showcase features to end customers, helping them to understand the power of the platform.
Batelco A/GM Enterprise Division Donya Al Ansari said: "Batelco recognises that enterprise security is the key to achieving global information security in businesses and is delighted to further extend its relationship with Palo Alto Networks.”
“On an ongoing basis, Batelco expands its security solutions portfolio to offer its customers a range of customisable solutions based on their industry and nature of business. Furthermore, Batelco Business Enterprise team is capable of customising products and services to meet specific industry needs,” Al Ansari added. – TradeArabia News Service
