Leading telecommunications company du has been recognised for its commitment to the employees at the Gallup Great Workplace Awards.

Ibrahim Nassir, chief human capital and administration officer at du, accepted the award during a ceremony held in Nebraska, US, earlier this month.

The Gallup Great Workplace Award recognises exceptional organisations with leaders who understand that employee engagement drives real business outcomes.

As the only telecom major among the 40 global organisations on the list, du exemplified global engagement standards in the ICT sector.

Some of the other organisations among the 40 winners this year include BCA (Bank Central Asia), Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Mars, Incorporated and DBS.
